What not to put on it

Baking soda, lemon and the other kitchen remedies passed around online, all of which are either abrasive or acidic. And most importantly, over-the-counter skin lightening creams — a proportion of them contain mercury or high-strength hydroquinone, and they can produce a deep bluish-grey discolouration that is far harder to undo than what you started with. I use mandelic acid and I use neither of those two ingredients.

The sequence

Nd:YAG to clear the hair, which ends the shaving and the ingrowns. Then mandelic acid on the pigment that is already there, patiently, over months rather than weeks. Anybody promising you a fast result on inner thigh pigmentation on Black skin is either going to burn you or going to sell you something that does not work.
