Far Infrared Sauna & Ozone Detox Therapy

Written by Eva Taub

What it is, and how it works

This is a whole-body wellness treatment, not a facial or skin-specific one. It combines two things in the same session: far infrared sauna, which uses gentle infrared heat (not the harsh, hard-to-breathe heat of a traditional steam sauna) to warm the body directly and support circulation, and oxygenated ozone therapy, which introduces purified oxygen to support the body's own repair and detoxification processes.

I recommend this together with my hair removal and skin clients, not instead of them — it's a real complement to what I do, not a replacement for treating skin or hair concerns directly.

A Real Far Infrared Sauna Treatment

Who it is for

Clients dealing with chronic inflammation, ongoing aches or stiffness, fatigue, hormonal imbalance, or a general sense of carrying toxin buildup in the body. It's especially popular after travel, after a course of antibiotics, or alongside an active skin-clearing routine, when the body could use extra support processing everything at once.

Who it is not for

This isn't right for everyone, and I ask about your health history before your first session. Pregnancy, certain heart conditions, uncontrolled blood pressure, and some blood or thyroid conditions are real reasons this may not be appropriate for you. This is exactly the kind of thing to discuss honestly at your consultation rather than guess about on your own — if you have any condition you're not sure about, tell me and we'll figure out together whether this is safe for you.

Realistic expectations

This is a supportive wellness treatment, not a medical cure for any specific condition. Most clients feel warmer, looser, and more relaxed immediately after a session, with reports of reduced stiffness and better sleep building over a series of visits. It works best as a repeated, ongoing part of your routine rather than a single one-time fix — the same way you wouldn't expect one laser session to finish a hair removal course.

Safety and aftercare

Stay hydrated before and after your session — the infrared heat means you'll want to replace fluids the same as you would after any real sweat session. Tell me about any medications, health conditions, or if there's any chance you're pregnant before we begin. Sessions are by appointment, one-on-one, in a private room.

In Eva's Own Words

I added this to my practice because I kept seeing clients dealing with real inflammation, pain, and exhaustion underneath whatever skin or hair concern brought them to me in the first place — and I didn't think it was right to only treat the surface. This isn't a gimmick to me. I recommend it honestly, for the clients I think it will genuinely help, alongside the skin and hair work I actually specialize in.

I've made more than 1,000 real educational videos on my YouTube channel over the years, and there's a very good chance whatever question you still have is already answered there. Explore my YouTube channel to see it in action.
