A lot of the women I see in Newnan have already been told, more than once, that what’s happening to their skin or their hair is just something to live with. A teenager whose facial hair started years before any of her friends’, quietly humiliated and not sure who to even ask about it. A Black woman who tried laser hair removal somewhere else, was burned or saw no results, and was never told that the equipment or the setting matters enormously for her skin tone. A woman managing PCOS who has been handed a prescription and sent home without anyone explaining why her body is doing what it’s doing. None of them needed to be told to live with it. They needed someone who actually understood the problem.
42 Masters Court, Newnan, GA 30265 — 305-864-3333
Women travel to Newnan because they’re tired of being told their skin or their hair is “just how it is.” It rarely is.
That’s the real reason this location exists, and I want to explain it before anything else — before the address, before the hours, before any of the practical details that matter once you already know this is the right place. Those are still here, near the bottom of this page, once you’re ready for them. This part comes first.
Who Travels Here
Women drive into Newnan from all over Georgia, and regularly from neighboring states too — some of them monthly, for an ongoing course of treatment, because there simply isn’t another provider near them with the same depth of experience in hormonal hair and Black skin. Some are teenagers, brought in by a parent who noticed facial hair starting years earlier than expected and wanted real answers, not just a razor and a promise it would pass. And many are Black women specifically looking for a provider who has spent decades treating darker skin tones, rather than someone applying a general approach and hoping it translates.
Who I Built This Location For
I built this location for women and teenagers struggling with hormonal facial hair, PCOS, Black skin concerns, Hidradenitis Suppurativa, or ingrown hairs, who need someone who has actually spent time inside these problems — not someone encountering them for the first time on your case. My understanding of hormonal disorders isn’t only professional. For decades, I’ve also watched my own daughter live with severe PCOS and Stage IV Endometriosis, and that experience changed the way I listen to women who arrive here frustrated after years of being told to simply live with their symptoms. I don’t say that to make this about me. I say it because it’s part of why I don’t dismiss what a patient tells me about her own body, even when it doesn’t fit a textbook description.
Why This Location Exists
I expanded into Georgia after decades of practice in South Florida, to make that experience available to women throughout Georgia and neighboring states who didn’t have easy access to it. Hormonal hair, PCOS, and Black-skin-specific care aren’t niche concerns — they’re common, and they deserve a provider who treats them every week, not occasionally.
What’s Treated Here
PCOS and hormonal facial hair sit at the center of what I treat here — the hair itself is a symptom of an underlying hormonal pattern, and I explain the full mechanism, including insulin resistance’s role in it, on that page. Insulin resistance specifically deserves its own deeper page on this site, and that’s real work I still have ahead of me — for now, I address it directly as part of the PCOS picture, since the two are so closely connected. Teenage-onset facial hair gets the same real evaluation as an adult case, handled with extra care for how young the patient is and how the conversation happens with a parent present. Hidradenitis Suppurativa is a condition I take seriously from the very first visit, because I don’t believe in waiting to treat it seriously until it’s already become severe. And ingrown hairs, often connected to the same curly and coily hair patterns I see constantly in this practice, get treated as the mechanical, explainable problem they actually are — not a hygiene failure, and never something I’d tell a Black or dark-skinned client to simply keep managing indefinitely.
Many of the women I treat are dealing with two problems at the same time: unwanted facial hair and the dark marks left behind from years of plucking, waxing, threading and ingrown hairs. I treat the hair and the dark pigmentation — the hyperpigmentation — together.
Why This Location Is Different
Laser hair removal on Black and dark skin is not the same procedure as laser hair removal on light skin, and treating it as though it is causes real harm — burns, missed results, and women who walk away believing laser simply “doesn’t work” for them, when what actually failed was the equipment or the settings, not their skin. I built this location around getting that right, every time, and around treating teenagers with the same seriousness as adults rather than telling them to simply wait it out.
What Makes Eva Different
For more than four decades, I have focused specifically on pigmentation, hormonal facial hair, electrolysis, and the treatment of darker and diverse skin tones — not as one service among many, but as the actual center of my work. I still perform every treatment myself. There is no rotating staff here, no technician you meet once and never see again; if you come to this location, you are treated by me, every time. Alongside clinical work, I’ve also spent years teaching other estheticians and skincare professionals what I’ve learned, because the mechanisms behind melanin-rich skin and hormonal hair deserve to be understood more widely than they currently are, not held onto as a trade secret.
Before I choose a treatment, I want to understand why the problem developed — a hormonal pattern, a follicle shape, a skin-tone-specific irritation trigger, or something else entirely. Two women can walk in with what looks like the same razor bumps or the same facial hair, driven by completely different causes, and treating the symptom without understanding the cause is exactly what leads to a treatment plan that doesn’t hold.
What I Don’t Do
I don’t perform Botox or fillers, and I don’t chase whatever the latest aesthetic trend happens to be. I’ve built my entire practice around a narrow set of problems — hormonal hair, PCOS, Black skin, and the follicular conditions that come with them — and I’ve stayed with them because going deep on a few real problems has always mattered more to me than offering a long menu of everything.
Who Should Not Come Here
I’d rather tell you this plainly than have you find out after booking: this location isn’t the right choice if you’re looking for the cheapest laser package or a same-day cosmetic treatment with no real evaluation first. It’s built for individualized treatment of complex hormonal hair and Black-skin-specific problems, which takes real time and often more than one visit. If that’s not what you need right now, there are faster, less expensive options elsewhere, and I’d rather you know that than be disappointed here.
What Eva Personally Does at This Location
This is where my experience with laser safety on Black and dark skin gets put to direct use, session by session — choosing the right equipment and settings for each individual patient rather than a single default setting applied to everyone. It’s also where I build a plan for women managing PCOS or HS that treats the whole pattern, not just the symptom in front of me that day.

I have struggled with PCOS, hyperpigmentation, facial hair, hormonal imbalance, and dark spots for over 10 years. Doctors only prescribed me birth control and told me I needed to lose weight. It has been a nightmare for me…one where I felt alone—scared and had exhausted so much of my time, money, and resources looking for someone or something that could fix me. I had almost given up hope; and then I met Eva Taub. She has single-handedly changed my life. Being a licensed clinician for over 40 years, and treating skin around the world is just the tip of her expertise. Eva is without a doubt; the most compassionate, educated, and empathetic individual I’ve encountered in any treatment-based profession. Beyond treating my melanated skin for laser, she has taught me several tips for healing within and managing life while suffering from endometriosis, hormonal imbalance, & PCOS. I finally understand what PCOS really is. I know that with her in my life I am never alone. Being a woman of color, I feel human and seen in Eva’s care…and that is something that is rare.
I travel for work and I am lucky that she has two clinics that I can travel to: a clinic (Bay Harbor Med Spa) in Miami, Florida—- (Newnan Laser Hair Removal & Pigmentation Clinic) in Newnan, Georgia. Attached you will see the transformation that has occurred under Eva’s care.

I am a black woman from Alabama and I’ve been coming to see Ms. Eva in Atlanta for laser hair removal on my face for over a year. Let me tell you, she does NOT disappoint, she really knows her stuff! She has studied and made herself knowledgeable on black skin, and is a professional when it comes to knowing about how to treat our skin. Before I went to her, the faical hair was messing with my self-esteem, I didn’t want anyone to see me, afraid to leave the house, I was tired of shaving every day. I needed to find a better solution. I found Ms. Eva while watching YouTube vidoes and let me tell you, I’m so glad I did! After going to her, she has really boosted my self-esteem and I am much more confident and feel way more feminine! She is very gentle, with a very kind and gentle soul. Anyone needing any type of laser hair removal would be hard-pressed to find anyone better than Ms. Eva!

This was the best gift that I have ever given myself. Ava was always kind and professional. I am a nurse and when I first met her I was listening for any inaccuracies in what she was saying. I am very hard to impress but she definitely impressed me with her knowledge of African American skin. She knows her stuff! You will not regret it. My face is as smooth as a babys bottom now, no burns no scaring. She has payment options. Treat yourself and get your confidence back. You deserve it!

I saw one of Eva’s youtube videos explaining hyperpigmentation, because of that video I watch many more of her videos and decided to call the business and was shocked that she answered. I explained my situation and she explained what I needed and how to use the products. Rome was not built in a day and neither was my pigmentation. I Made up my mind before puchasing the products, to follow her instructions, be consistant and be patient. It did not work overnight but it worked! I was discouraged in the beginning because I wanted to see quick results. I first noticed that the pigmentation was not getting any darker which it was before. Then I started to see it fade and fade! Patience paid off for me!

Not only was she good with my treatments she has a very good heart and ear. I loved being able to open up to her about life. Not being rushed out the door but making sure you felt better on the inside. She has a very big heart and beautiful spirit. You will not be disappointed!

I highly recommend Eva! I went to her for permanent facial and neck hair removal and to treat hyperpigmentation. As someone with black skin, it was important for me to find someone who truly understood my skin. Eva definitely does. She took the time to explain everything in detail and used a holistic approach with natural products, which I really appreciated.
Since starting my treatments, the coarse hair is basically gone and the dark spots have reduced/disappeared significantly. My skin looks smoother and more even. Eva is knowledgeable, patient, and truly cares about your skin. Eva is the one!

I recommend going to Eva. As a woman facial hair is embarrassing. I was tired of the ingrown hairs which left scarring on my face due to pulling them from under my skin. She explained in great detail the hair removal process so that I had an idea on what to expect. I get electrolysis and laser hair removal because I have white hairs. I have had 10 sessions so far and have not had any ingrown hairs and I have noticed a great reduction in the amount of hairs that grows. If you are thinking about having your unwanted hair removed I advise contacting Eva.

The service I received was great. Very professional and attentive to my needs. Being a mature Black women, sometime it’s challenging to find a place that treats you with dignity. I highly recommend this place if you are having issues with hair that need to be removed.

I’ve seen a real difference. Eva’s products cleared my daughter’s skin. The laser treatments took care of her facial hair. She also really knows how to work with dark skin, which made a big difference. Solid results and she’s happy with it.

I started my hair removal treatment with Eva about two months ago due to hormonal changes that caused increased hair growth, and I’m so glad I found her. Eva is incredibly knowledgeable and takes the time to explain how hormones affect hair growth and why certain changes occur in our bodies—things that even doctors often don’t explain in such detail.
She’s super professional, patient, and makes you feel very comfortable. I’m already seeing great results and definitely recommend her. ❤️

What to Expect at Your First Visit
If you’ve never been here before, I want you to know what the first visit looks like, because uncertainty itself can be part of what keeps women waiting far longer than they need to. It starts with a real consultation — an actual evaluation of your skin and hair, not a sales conversation. From there, I’ll be honest about what a realistic outcome looks like, including the timeline. If treatment makes sense, we build a plan together, specific to your case. There’s no pressure to commit on the spot, and no follow-up sales call. I’d rather you decide when you’re ready than feel pushed into it.
Related Educational Resources
If you’d like to understand the mechanism behind your own case before your visit, start with: PCOS Facial Hair, Hidradenitis Suppurativa, Ingrown Hairs, and Pseudofolliculitis Barbae (PFB). Further down this page, you can also watch real video from my YouTube channel on these subjects, and see the products that grow out of this location’s protocols.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you treat teenagers? Yes, regularly, always with a parent involved in the conversation. Early-onset hormonal hair deserves a real evaluation, not a wait-and-see approach.
Do you treat Black skin specifically? It’s central to this practice, not an afterthought — laser settings and technique that work safely on Black and dark skin are different, and getting that right is something I’ve focused on for decades.
Does insurance cover treatment here? Generally no — these are cosmetic and dermatologic services, not typically covered by insurance. I’ll always be upfront about that during your consultation.
Do I need a PCOS diagnosis to be seen here? No. Many women come in with hormonal hair or skin symptoms before any formal diagnosis, and part of what I do is help you understand what you’re actually seeing, whether or not you have a diagnosis yet.
Do women really travel from other states for this? Yes, regularly, often monthly, for an ongoing course of treatment.
