Will shaving less often cure my razor bumps?

Answered by Eva Taub

It can reduce new bumps in the short term, simply because there’s less freshly-cut hair to curl back into the skin — but I want to be honest with you, it isn’t a cure. The underlying tendency is still there the moment you shave again. Growing a beard out is a legitimate option for men who can do that. For anyone who needs or wants to keep shaving, laser hair removal is what I actually recommend, because it addresses the cause instead of just avoiding the trigger.
