Activated O3 Oxygen Serum
Written by Eva Taub
A supportive, ozone-based serum I layer alongside mandelic acid for chronic, hard-to-calm irritation and discoloration.
This isn’t a standalone treatment, and I want to be upfront about that. I use my Activated O3 Oxygen Serum as an adjunct — layered alongside the mandelic-acid foundation of my protocol, not instead of it — for cases where discoloration keeps being driven by ongoing, low-grade inflammation rather than a single past injury that’s already healed.
In my clinical experience over many years, ozone-based treatment supports the skin’s own healing response and helps calm that lingering irritation, which matters most for areas dealing with chronic friction or folliculitis — this is the same reasoning behind why it’s part of my Intimate Area Lightening protocol specifically, though I use it more broadly wherever that same pattern of chronic irritation is present.
This is for you if you’re already using a mandelic-acid-based routine — the Mini Eva Kit, or in-office peels — and dealing with discoloration that keeps being reactivated by ongoing irritation rather than settling down. It is not the place to start if you haven’t yet addressed the underlying cause, since a supportive serum can’t outpace a trigger that’s still active.
Like the rest of my product line, there’s no hydroquinone or bleaching agent in it, and it works as part of a sustained, gentle routine, not a fast fix.
Not sure this fits where you are in treatment? Call me before ordering, or start with the Intimate Area Lightening page to see the full protocol this fits into.
